Leah Morise
Marketing Manager, Elemex

1. What do you like best about your job?

I like the variety I have with my job. I am the Marketing Manager for Elemex, as well as several sister companies. I organize all aspects of marketing: budgets, digital, print, photography, web, tradeshows etc. There is never a dull moment and I enjoy the wide range of things that keep me busy.

2. What are the biggest professional challenges you face and how does ClickDimensions help you address those challenges?

One of my duties is to assist the sales agents and product representatives with acquiring and tracking new leads and to keep current contacts engaged. ClickDimensions helps achieve that with campaign automation and tracking. The seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics allows us to follow and attribute the leads from specific campaigns to awarded projects.

3. What was your background before landing in your current role?

My background was as a self-employed graphic designer for many years. I am also a singer/songwriter within the folk/contemporary genre. Having the combined experiences made for an easy transition into marketing coordination and then into marketing management.

4. What is your favorite word, and why?

Creativity. My life includes creativity in many forms. Whether songwriting or designing advertising materials or other artistic works using paint, pencil, clay, fabric or photography, I love to turn imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity can also be used to devise fresh ways to solve problems and meet challenges.

5. If you could live anywhere on this planet and take everything that you love with you, where would you choose to live and why?

Well, I really love where I currently live – a small village not too far from my work and other hobbies in the city. I bought an old country church where I can create and enjoy music. Southwestern Ontario is one of the warmer areas of Canada and I like to experience the four seasons. I don’t know if I have been to enough places to make an educated decision. I would probably prefer to stay where I am but just travel more.
